Scholarships

The Narragansett Lions Club is a local service organization that seeks to make our community a better place in which to live. Each year, the Narragansett Lions provide scholarships of up to $1000 to Narragansett High School seniors, including out-ofdistrict seniors. We will also consider Narragansett residents who are seniors at other high schools who are about to further their education in a technical program or in a 2 or 4-year college program. One of the scholarships will be awarded in memory of long-time lion Kevin Mulholland to the student who demonstrates evidence of a commitment to community service.

Please complete the attached application and return to the Narragansett High School guidance office no later than Friday, April 24, 2026.

Late applications will not be accepted

Please provide the following information:

1. Lions scholarship application
2. High school transcript
3. List of school & community activities
4. Essay: Please explain how your community is a better place because of the contributions you have made throughout your high school career. (2 Page Maximum)
5. All sections of the application must be completed and all required information must be submitted in order for the application to be considered
